Hello my friends, just popping in to share a little something that made my heart skip a beat.
While traveling have you ever ran across something that you wished you could hitch it to your wagon and drag it home?
Such was the case with me when we drove into Baker City, OR.
We drove down a street a block or two below the main part of town. Hubby and I spied a large gorgeous white home that had been turned into a business.
It wasn't until we drove by the side of it did I spy this.
A darling garden shed.
After closer inspection I saw that it was in dire need of some tender loving care!
As my heart throbbed, I couldn't help myself from taking a peek inside.
(these photos were taken through the glass)
It looked as though it's gardener had not been inside for years.
The bottom was overgrown with weeds and dried leaves had fallen onto the table.
The potting bench area was longing for someone to clean it up. A little saying about pansies had been painted on the board above. I didn't tarry long enough to write it down.
It was easy to tell that at one time this old shed was a real beauty! Her chandy and other garden treasures showed evidence of that.
As I walked away it's beautiful stained glass window bid me adieu.
Oh how I wish I could have brought you home with me!
We have cleared a spot up on the hill behind our pondless waterfall for a garden shed. So far, no construction has started.
She would look lovely there!
What joy I would have giving her a little TLC.
I will be sharing with these lovely parties:
