Share Your Cup Thursday #37

Welcome to Share Your Cup.  This is the place where you come to share whatever it is that makes you happy.  Thanks to all of you who share weekly and if you are new here, so happy to have you!

Can you believe that Christmas is less than a week away?  There is snow on the ground so it’s looking like we might just have us a white Christmas after all.

Yesterday, was a non computer day in honor of those who’s lives were so tragically taken in CT.

I spent the day making Christmas goodies with two daughters and one dil.  This is a tradition we enjoy every year.

Last weeks, ‘Creating Christmas’ party was a big success and there were so many wonderful vintage posts.

The winner of the wreath is Meri from  ImagimerisMy little 3 year old grandie, Saydee pulled her name out of the hat bowl.  You may already know that Meri just gave away two gorgeous vintage wreaths on her blog.

The only person who mentioned putting the button on her blog was Debbie Dabble.  Congrats, you won the bottle brush tree.  E-mail me your addresses ladies and I will get these in the mail.

Creating Christmas features:

Karen Mary Butterfly (I had to type her whole name, isn’t it cute?) from Shabby Brocante shared her sweet mini boxes she made using vintage smalls.

Andrea from Town and Prairie shared her collection of wonderful vintage Paper Mache candy containers.

Ann from A Sentimental Life gave us a tour of her darling home at 1515.  This home use to be her grandparents.  It is filled with vintage Christmas.  I had a hard time choosing a pic.  This one won out because we had a Santa so similar to this growing up.  Ours lit up and mom would hang it out on the house every year.

Nicki from The Vintage Farmhouse took us on another home tour.  She called her style simple.  I call it simply gorgeous!

Both Julie Marie from Idyll Hours and Donna from Donnas Designs shared their altered ice skates.  I couldn’t pick just one.

Thanks so much and now for some features from SYC (share your cup) #36. Doesn’t that seem like forever ago?

Kim from Reposhture shared this darling holiday swag she made from a drop cloth.  I absolutely love it!

Joy from A Vintage Green shared her lovely vintage Christmas décor.

How fun is this doily tree Michele from Sew Sweet Vintage created for her door?

I love these sweet little acorns that Kelley from Kelley's Highway made.

And look at this fun Christmas porch at Andrea’s home.  There’s a lot more to see at Cottage and Broome

Now let’s see what wonderful things you’ve been up to this week.

Now for a few rules and then let the fun begin!

1. I would love for you to be a follower of Have a Daily Cup of Mrs. Olson
2. Link up a particular post and not your entire blog. Please limit your links to no more than three.
3. Please have a link back to this post. That way others will know where the party is. Feel free to grab my button on the sidebar if you’d like. Only those with links back will be featured.
4. Please find time to visit at least a few other participants. It’s a great way to find new blogs

After you link up I would love for you to leave a comment. They help to fill my cup!

Hugs,

Jann

Thank you Jann for featuring my vintage ice skates... I am still having a really hard time dealing with last Friday's events, like most everyone else is as well... and not posting right now, or joining any parties this week... other than I did a special post today for the victims... I will post again after Christmas... sending lots of love and Christmas blessings to you and your family, and to all of the other wonderful ladies in blogland... xoxo Julie Marie
